Healing

As well as the therapeutic affects of being with horses and other animals the land has a healing quality all of its own; The magic of nature, spending time in the woodland or sitting on a rock at the top of the land, where on a clear day you can see as far as Exmoor. The air is really clean; many of the trees are clung with lichens which can only grow in pure air. Our water comes from a bore hole 50 metres down into the Dartmoor earth, it can sometimes appear slightly cloudy but it is cleaner than any tap water to drink, and completely natural.

Our stone circle is a place of peace and contemplation and each stone holds a vibration and energy of its own, they are all ancient rocks, most of which came up from under the ground when we levelled a sloping area next to the drive. All the rock at the farm is full of quartz crystal (an amplifier) and black tourmaline (clears negativity; this is the same combination as the island of Koh Phangan in Thailand; another interesting and rewarding place to visit)

Kate is a crystal healer and bookings can be made for a therapy session, or group of sessions during your stay, this can be planned in advance or arranged on arrival (subject to available babysitting). At times we have visiting healers who are available for bookings, information of these will be pinned on our notice board.
